Providing everything goes to plan, we will be pushing this build out to all users after the testing phase to replace the 32-bit version that is currently available The builds are currently in an open beta testing phase, which players are encouraged to download and test. In preparation for future updates to macOS and Linux distributions, we have made 64-bit versions of Mount & Blade: Warband available on these platforms. Once you opt in, a new download should commence for it. To access it, you need to go into the properties for the game on Steam, hit the Beta tab and enter in the password 'betapassword' to have it appear. This is how support should be done, hats off to TaleWorlds for doing the right thing for us. Rather than drop support, they're making steps to improve their Linux build. It seems the current version has been causing Linux gamers some hassle for a while, with it simply not working on some newer distributions. TaleWorlds Entertainment are continuing to support Mount & Blade: Warband, with a new beta that offers up 64bit support for Linux. Quite some time ago, our contributor Samsai said it was 'an awesome RPG'.
